Terms of Service

The short version

PHEWSH is a tool for structuring your thinking and using AI effectively. You own your data. We provide the service. Be reasonable. Here are the details.

Your account

You can use PHEWSH without an account (local mode). Creating an account enables cloud sync, history, and credits.
You're responsible for keeping your account secure. We use OAuth (Google/GitHub) — no passwords to manage.
You must be 13 or older to use the service.

Your content

You own everything you create. Your artifacts, projects, and freeform text belong to you.
We need a limited license to store and display your content back to you (and to anyone you share it with via share links).
We don't use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties.
You can export or delete your data at any time.

AI generation

AI-generated artifacts are tools, not guarantees. Review all output before acting on it.
Generations consume credits (if using PHEWSH credits) or your own API quota (if using BYO keys).
We route requests through OpenRouter. Model availability and quality may vary.

Payments

Credit packs are prepaid and non-refundable once used.
Unused credits don't expire.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your card details.
Subscription plans (when available) can be cancelled anytime via the Stripe customer portal.

Acceptable use

Don't use PHEWSH to:

Generate content that's illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights.
Abuse the free tier (automated bulk generation, reselling credits, etc.).
Attempt to access other users' data or bypass security controls.

Availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uptime. The service may be interrupted for maintenance. Your local data (BYO key mode) always works offline.

Limitation of liability

PHEWSH is provided "as is." We're not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content, data loss beyond what's recoverable from backups, or third-party service outages (Supabase, Stripe, OpenRouter).

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the app.
